Starter motor replacement

This BMW E90 330i would not start, and its starter motor was making a grinding noise. We checked the battery and tried a jump pack. The power supply was good but the grinding continued, so we replaced the starter motor. The car then started first time.

Earth cable and connection repairs

On a Fiat Uno that would not start, we checked the battery’s negative terminal and the earth connection. The earth connection was corroded and its original mounting had sheared off. We cleaned the connection and relocated the mounting. You can see the terminal and bracket in the job photos.
