Coolant flush and renewal
The Saab job also included a coolant flush. Ask about coolant or antifreeze renewal when you enquire, so the quote includes the work your car needs.
When the cause is not known
If you are not sure what is wrong, tell us what you have noticed and whether another mechanic has inspected the car. A temperature warning or coolant problem does not necessarily mean the water pump has failed. Include any written findings so we can discuss what to check.

Ask us to confirm what coolant work is included in your quote. The Saab job included a flush, but we agree what is needed for each car.
